BAME Future Leaders Networking Event

This event is a great opportunity for BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) students to network with a range of successful professionals. 

This year, our key speakers are:

  • Angelie Moledina (1993), Chief Impact Officer, Sustainable Markets Initiative
  • Nami Morris (2017), Deputy Development Director, Pembroke College
  • Eno Mwamba (2021), Associate, McKinsey & Company
  • Christiane Tan (2015), Investment Associate, Blue Earth Capital
  • Meg Uthayophas (2012), VP, Technology, Financial and Business Services Vertical, Bain Capital 

The event is free and also open to non-Pembroke student but requires registration (closing date 30 January).

The networking will be followed by a free formal hall (Pembroke students only) where you will have the opportunity to sit with the key speakers and continue the discussion. NB you must attend the networking segment if you wish to go to the formal afterwards.

Timetable

6:00 PM - Welcome from the Lord Chris Smith, Master of Pembroke, Di’Mario Downer, College Ethnic Minorities Officer (JPC) and Jiten Dhandha, College Ethnic Minorities Officer (GPC)
6:10 PM - Alumni and key speakers introduce themselves for approx. 5-10 minutes.
6:45 PM - Informal networking and drinks reception
7:30 PM - Go through to Formal Hall
