2014 Pembroke Mile

Pembroke College Challenge Cup for the One Mile Flat Race
Come and run a mile this Sunday for charity! (Pembroke Fellows welcome to enter too...)

Want to raise money for a good cause while working up an appetite?

Well, this Sunday (26 October), is the annual Pembroke Mile.

Run between Pembroke sports pitches and Laundress Green (opposite the Mill pub), it costs £5 to enter the race and your entry fee goes towards a really good cause, the Pembroke African Scholarship Scheme.

There will be prizes for the fastest runners (male and female), for the best fancy-dress and for the most creative mode of completing of the mile (NB completing it wheelbarrow style takes a veeerrry long time).

All participants will receive a FREE BRUNCH, kindly donated by an alumnus of the College.

Gather from 10.30 am on the Pembroke Pitches to pay your £5 entry fee to a member of the 1347 Committee. The starting gun will go at 11:00(ish) prompt...
