The College, in conjunction with Pembroke Players, is offering grants to support Pembroke undergraduates who need to travel outside Cambridge to participate in drama at a high level, over the Long Vacation.

Funded through the Peter Cook Fund and the Pembroke Players patron scheme, grants will usually cover one half of reasonable travel expenses and pay £10 a day for up to 21 days as a contribution towards living expenses. The maximum grant will be either £200 or £300. Historically the majority of grants have been for Edinburgh or the Players’ own foreign tours. Students who receive an award will have to submit receipts and a short (one side of A4) report on their summer activities, early in Michaelmas term.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis, so it is advisable to submit your form in as early as possible. The closing date for applications is Sunday 18 May. Completed forms should be left in Joseph Spencer’s pigeon hole.

Further details can be found on the application form.
