Pembroke College Cambridge

BT Research Careers Evening

Come along to meet some of BT's researchers and find out why BT research is a great place to start your career.

Details:

Nihon Room, Pembroke College

Monday 23rd October 18:00 - 19:30

BT is the UK's 3rd largest investor in R&D.  Our research teams apply their technical skills and knowledge to solve the future challenges facing BT and our customers around the world. This could be how to increase broadband speeds, how to improve the experience for our BT TV customers, how to find faults on our network before they occur, or how to keep BT and our customers safe from cyberattacks.

We collaborate with universities and other companies from around the world, from the smallest start-ups to the largest multi-nationals.  Our researchers are active participants in industry conferences, professional associations and standards bodies, and we support our people to gain further qualifications, such as MScs and PhDs, as well as professional accreditations.  Each year, we recruit a number of STEM graduates and post-graduates to work at BT Labs at Adastral Park near Ipswich, as well as offering summer placements to students in their penultimate year.

To register email Jane Moorman: corporate@pem.cam.ac.uk. The event is open to all students.
