Foundation Year Programme

Pembroke offers its warm support for the Foundation Year Programme, even though it is not currently a participating college.

In the meantime the College’s work to widen access to Cambridge for under represented groups remains high on our agenda, led by our Head of Widening Participation, Amber Cuttill. Initiatives cover a wide range including, for example, subject masterclasses, residentials and BAME Access Days - albeit necessarily amended under pandemic conditions. Beyond Pembroke, this commitment includes Pembroke’s successful relationship with IntoUniversity Walworth Centre.

We maintain a strong interest in the Programme’s aims and objectives. We look forward to learning from the Programme’s initial experiences and hope to participate in the future.
