Head Gardener celebrates 50 years at Pembroke

Last week Pembroke's Head Gardener, Nick Firman, celebrated his fiftieth year at the College.

As well as receiving congratulations from the Master at the Staff Long Service Awards, Nick was presented with gifts from the Gardens Committee and is featured in today's copy of Cambridge News.

In the interview, he says: 'It's a nice job; you are working in the fresh air and you are left to your own devices.'
