John Donne, poet and preacher, died on this day in 1631. We have numerous editions of his works in the Library, including this book in the Meredith Dewey Collection which was given to him by Sir Geoffrey Keynes. It is Death's Duell , a pre-funeral sermon written shortly before he died.
