Race reports by Pembroke College Boat Club

A week on from their successful bumps campaign, W1 travelled to London to race the Women’s Eights Head of the River Race (WEHORR). Starting in 298th position out of 300 racing crews, they overtook several crews down the 6.8km Championship Course, finishing in an impressive 138th place. This result puts them 5th out of the Cambridge colleges competing and 2nd in their division, and will allow them a much higher starting berth in next year’s edition.
