Phin wins bronze!

Third year theology student Phin Adams (2010) has beaten two giants of British radio broadcasting to win a bronze award at the Radio Academy Awards, which were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 12 May.

Phin was nominated in the Speech Radio Personality of the Year category for his weekly radio show on Cam FM Phin's Barmy Bunch. The gold award was won by Danny Baker (BBC Radio 5Live) while the silver award went to Alan Robson (Metro Radio). Both Johnny Vaughan (talkSPORT) and Nick Ferrari (LBC 97.3) were left empty-handed.

This was a very impressive result for a student radio presenter and the judges praised Phin as a "young personality with a big future: original, brave and incredibly funny."
