2017 in Pictures: Part 2
Last time on the blog we looked back at some of the music, talks, and fundraising that took place in 2017. We continue our year in pictures with some of the ways our community has come together this year.
Every year we welcome semester students and Pembroke-Kings Programme students through our International Programmes. These international visitors have been an integral part of Pembroke life for 40 years, a milestone which we celebrated with our IP at 40 series, and a dinner and exhibition.

Our admissions office has been welcoming prospective students and school groups throughout the year with open days, school visits, and residential courses. Prospective students can visit Pembroke at various open days through the year, and Schools Liaison Office Amber regularly travels to schools or welcomes them to Pembroke. We also held a three-day Women in Science residential, and a postgraduate open day.

We also enjoy bringing together the extended Pembroke family, whether that means seeing alumni again at one of our events, bringing members of Pembroke House to the College, or members and friends joining the Pembroke Singers

In further fundraising efforts, the Graduate Parlour held a charity open mic night in aid of Mind, while our Giving Tuesday Bake Sale raised money for the Jo Cox Memorial Studentship.

Our largest event this year was the launch of The Time and The Place campaign. We have the excitement of the Mill Lane development ahead of us, none of which would be possible without the generous support of our donors. Photos by Nigel Luckhurst.
