Teachers and Advisors
Making decisions about the future can be difficult – and many of our students might not be here if they hadn’t been given the right information, at the right time, to help them choose.
That’s why teachers and advisors play such a crucial role in our application process. We couldn’t do it without you.

Helping teachers help students
We want to encourage applications from young people regardless of background. And we understand some schools can provide more support than others during the application process.
So, as part of the University of Cambridge Area Links Scheme, we hold a range of events to give teachers and advisers all the information they need to guide and support applicants.
The Pembroke link areas are:
- Luton, Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire
- Leicester and Leicestershire
- Northamptonshire
- London Borough of Southwark
- Scotland (shared with Homerton College)
We also host a number of teachers each year for short study visits, and deliver Teacher Briefings around our link areas.
Events for prospective students
Our Schools Liaison team run a year-round programme of events and visits for secondary school students in Year 10 and above.
